Eighth Annual showcase
of 1903 to 1972 Ford and Mercury trucks was held in memory of John
Ramage. For
years, Ramage dreamed of having a very large classic Ford
truck
show
on the
west coast
before he passed away in 1996.
Ramage is remembered for founding the Olympic
Peninsula chapter of Henry's Haulters in the spring
of 1994. This club, originally Seattle-based, was named
after Henry Ford and focuses on vintage Ford trucks.
The current host clubs include; Henry's Half Tons Ltd. from Portland,
Oregon, Puget Sound Limiteds, and of course, Henry's Haulers.
Some events from the weekend include the Show 'n Shine, various
vendors, door prizes, putt-putt golf tournaments, a parade, a potluck
dinner,
and a dance sock hop on Saturday night. |
