Nautical Retreat

Welcome to our next Ocean Shores home. This two story, four bedroom, two bathroom home is situated just a few miles south of down town Ocean Shores on the boulevard. Away from most of the crowds, but still offers a view of the ocean in a quieter setting.

As for the decor, this home has a friendly grand parent feel to it along with a number of different nautical touches, including some vintage artifacts, ship life art and memorabilia as a navy recruiter.

Other highlights include ocean access within walking distance, two separate living areas, a wood fireplace upstairs, a large yard, gas BBQ (in garage) and a two car garage.

Please Note: This is a two story, non-smoking home with only stairway access. There is no elevator access. Small pets are welcomed.

Bed Room Highlights

First Floor

The Parent's Guest Bedroom

Or perhaps call it another bedroom for the kids with it's double sized bed. Either way both can be accommodated here. Bedroom highlights include a double size bed in a vintage bed frame with a dark stain finish, end table with lamp, two drawer dresser with vanity mirror, and a toddler bed.

The Guest Bedroom

Keep the peace a little while longer with the kids. This bedroom is fine for older kids or perhaps as another, traditional guest bedroom in a pinch. Bedroom highlights include a double sized bed, dresser and vanity mirror with a wicker decoration and a chair.

Second Floor

The Master Bedroom

Well it's no secret for who gets to stay here when it's a full house. With a separate access to the second floor bathroom and a larger layout ... and I can't forget to mention it even has a largest closet space complete with mirrored doors.

Other room highlights include a queen size bed with an elegant brass bed frame, a five drawer dresser with a vanity mirror, two oak end tables with lamps, chairs with matching foot stool and plenty of space. Also the same bathroom has a small utility area for a washer/dryer set.

The Master Guest Bedroom

While more spacious than the other "guest" bedrooms in the house, the simpler, no nonsense layout is great option for the grand parents or perhaps the in-laws instead.

Bedroom highlights include a queen size art deco bed with a matching dresser, end table, mirror and a good size closet.

Other Highlights

First Floor

The Living Area

Great for the kids to be a little noisy while watching their favorite cartoons, this is the smallest of the two living areas in the house, but it still offers a large layout with direct access to the downstairs bathroom.

Highlights include a hide-a-bed couch, a "traditional" couch, hemlock wood table with a large nautical theme lamp, entertainment center with a large TV & DVD player, chair and nautical theme touches/art.

Second Floor

The Living area

The largest and spacious area of the house. The living area offers an ocean side viewing along with a wood fireplace along with a large screen TV with VCR, three couches with coffee table, a few comfortable chairs and ceiling fan.

As for the decor and like the downstairs living area, this part of the house features number of nautical touches, including a vintage, brass maritime lamp enclosure for an oil lamp.

The Kitchen area

Like many older styled kitchens, this kitchen offers a larger layout with separate appliances in cabinetry, a cooking island with a four burner stove and a three person breakfast nook.

Other highlights include oak cabinetry with ceramic tiled counters and pantry, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, dish washer, a three sided sink with a garbage disposal in the middle and a radio.

So it's stocked and ready for the next big family get together.

The Dining area

Enjoy ocean side views during your family dining. This oak table has seating for four with enough room to comfortably seat two more. Other touches include a large china hutch, chandelier and different decor touches, like Norman Rockwell plates, nautical knickknacks and figurines.
