It's gonna be a Whale of a Quilt Show

Ocean Shores is gearing up for a Whale of a Quilt Show. Sea Pal Quilters presents the 26th annual weekend event at the Ocean Shores Convention Center. It's 10 am-5 pm, Friday and Saturday, September 20 and 21, 10 am-3 pm, Sunday, September 22.

This year, there are 209 quilts to view. In addition, you'll find demonstrations, vendors and a quilt walk. There will be door prizes, a boutique, plus food and beverages.

And the raffle...the 2019 Raffle Quilt is "Beach Walk" a labyrinth walk by Christopher Florence.

Sea Pal Quilters Of Ocean Shores is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote and enhance the art of quilt-making. The group is committed to giving back to the community through classes, exhibitions, and donations.

Classes are monthly (or more) on Mondays. Seasonal "Sew In" is quarterly, also on Mondays. Meetings are monthly on the fourth Wednesday at 10 am at the Galilean Lutheran Church, 824 Ocean Shores Blvd NW. Visitors are welcome to the meetings.

And the quilt show is FREE admission! The Convention Center is at 120 W. Chance a la Mer.
