Description: At 107 feet tall it is the tallest lighthouse in the state of Washington. It hasn't moved and used to sit at the edge of the Pacific Ocean at Grays Harbor, but the jetty constructed in the early 1900's changed the ocean currents and built up nearly a half mile of sand between the beach and the lighthouse. It has been kept in beautiful condition right down to the hand laid mosaic tiles on the entry floor. Each flight of the original cast iron stairway is free floating, attached at the top and bottom of each floor supports
